and chillaxing by the pool with your brother! You love the swimming pool and you love spending time with your brother. I am so glad you love the water as much as your mommy does!
Boy can you move on this thing! It is taking you a little bit of time to figure it out but it is so cute watching you go. You think you are such a big boy and so grown up when you are on it. (Shhh I won't tell anyone that you can't even walk yet!)
I took you and your brother to Hershey Park for the first time today. You loved it! Even though you didn't ride any rides, you liked getting in the water and playing in the splash zones. You also really liked watching the people.
Gosh! You have a really bad case of pink eye. Just looking at it makes my eyes hurt. I hate to see you sick and it has to be bothering you. Even though you are smirking behind that binky. I will get you better little man!
We had a great day! We woke up and went shopping with your dad and brother. Then we bought lawn chairs and an ice chest and headed out to watch some off-road races. But we were too late and it was too hot so your dad was fussing about being out there. So we hit a festival downtown and walked around looking at the different booths and stuff. We finished the day by heading to Hooplas for some mini-golf and to the parking lot of our apartments to watch the fireworks. It was a great day had by all :)
I love these pictures cause it shows off your pearly whites. You get a little cranky when you are cutting teeth but not too bad (thank goodness) I love your two little teeth :)
You looked so cute tonight eating! You kept spitting your squash out of your mouth. I swear one day you are going to turn orange from eating so much of it and sweet potatos! Those are your two favorite things to eat these days!
I took you and your brother to see Toy Story 3 today. I was really hesitant at first because I thought you would cry and make noise or be just a little annoying but you did so good. You were fascinated by the big screen and the movement and lights and about 30 minutes into it, you wore yourself out and fell asleep. It was really cute!
You were so tired and fussy tonight. I put you to bed early. About an hour after I put you down, I went into the room to check on you. You were soooo tired! I looked in on you and found you sleeping like this. It could not have been comfortable!
finally! I knew you could do it even way before today. You were playing around roomba and pushing the buttons. Roomba took off and you took off, clear across the living room, chasing roomba! I couldn't believe my eyes.
helping mommy clean out her closets. You kept fussing when I put you in the other rooms so I laid you on the bed and you went to town with the coat hangers. You had such a good time that I hope I didn't break any child labor laws :)
Last night, I woke up during the middle of the night and went to check the baby monitor and it looked like you had 3 heads! Yes, three heads. So I went to check on you to find that you had invited worm and patches to sleep over and yall were all snuggled up together so peacefully. I couldn't resist taking a picture.
and you play with the Rug! We have literally bought hundreds of dollars worth of toys and you move and play with the rug! I have never seen anything like it in my entire life :)
So tonight I took you to the Midnight Breakfast. Yes it is literally at midnight and the college kids love to get up late at night and eat ice cream on top of pancakes. (Gross I know) Anyhow, the Trix bunny showed up and you looked at him like he was your long lost friend! You love the Trix Bunny.
courtesy of your Aweseome Aunt Kelley! She has given us so much stuff from your twin cousins that we have hardly had to buy anything! You look so cute in this walker and I love when you place yourself in front of the big screen tv. It looks like you are at a drive in movie!
Uncle Eric thinks you are pretty cool :) It might be because you have more hair than him or the fact that you are both single, but either way, you two are two of the most important men in my life. I love you both very much!
We had a great Easter. We hung out with all of your cousins at the house in Clinton. We did an Easter Egg Hunt and ate a great lunch. Everyone thinks you are the cutest thing and we had a great day. Later in the afternoon we went to your Mawmaw Sissy's house for an egg hunt as well. You had a great day!
So your dad, brother, you and I all went to the Baton Rouge Zoo today. You loved the train and riding in the stroller and looking at all of the animals. I think you are going to love animals! You had a good time.
So we bought you your very own plane seat so that you could be snug in your carseat on the way home. Well United couldn't find the FAA approved sticker so they took your carseat and expected you to sit in the seat by yourself! Then they loaded our luggage onto the plane next to us and it took off so we had to wait forever for them to bring it back. This was after they didn't have an escalator for the stroller to get into the terminal and some United employee grabbed your carseat and started walking up the steps! Don't worry he only got about three steps before I yanked him back down. Wow, we will never fly united again. (By the way, you didn't seem to care at all!)
SO we have been working for MONTHS on sign language. Today, you showed the first signs of doing it! You asked for milk several times when we were at the restaurant (Kas was my witness!) When we got home, I tried to get you to do it again. You did a little bit!
So this bunny was not too bad. You loved him in fact. You kept smiling and looking at him and posing for the camera. Boy you look like a red head in this picture. It won't be much longer now until we go see your relatives for Easter!
So we couldn't find a really good Easter Bunny and after the fiasco at Sears when you were 6 weeks old, I frankly refuse to pay that much money for pictures! Today I got a few outfits and few Easter props and off around campus we went. I think the pictures came out fantastic. I love you Easter Bunny!
