Your Room

Well little man, your room is finally complete! When dad and I got back from our July 4th vacation, the whole house was torn apart because we had contractors in the apartment that were installing new air conditioners. Your room was completely rearranged. Your furniture was in the bathroom! The house was a mess. It took me a good two to three weeks to get everything cleaned back up and separated, and sorted.

So your room is finally done and I love it! I can't wait to see your little body in it! I hope you like what we have picked out. Now we are just steadily waiting on you to show up.

Brace Yourself!

Well my little man. I can't call you bean or little man anymore. We went back to Dr. Smith and he said that you weigh 7lbs 12 oz already! You have doubled at the last three appointments. I can't believe how fast you are growing! I am praying you don't weight 12-15lbs! like they are somewhat projecting. Daddy couldn't go with me today but he is so proud of you. I took a picture of your sonogram picture and sent it to everyone. She actually got a pretty decent 4d picture of you. Your cheeks are sooooooooo fat! You are soooo cute. I can't believe how handsome you are. Today, I fell in love all over again. Seeing your little face has renewed my spirit and will be enough to get me through the next three months. Everything else is going good other than my legs are swelling a whole bunch. They are working to monitor it. I am praying your growth slows down by the next sonogram. Daddy will be back by then hopefully. He is working in Oregon right now.

Your Baby Shower

Today we had your baby shower at Mrs. Marion and Mr. Gary's house. They welcomed us with open arms which is really nice of them. There was a fair amount of people at her house for the shower; Kas, Marion, Gary, Carolyn, Elliott, Emma, Ward, Genelle, Abby, Noah, Matt, Julie, Barb, Henriette, Jackson, Katie and John. We got lots of really nice things for you! We are so lucky to have such good friends to join us in welcoming you into the world.
Katie and Jon worked really hard putting together a nice shower for us. They had hotdogs and snacks, and lots of activities. Mr Jon even made you a playlist of songs that all had the word "baby" in them. He also made a quizzo game especially for you. It was a lot of fun!
After we ate and played quizzo, we all went swimming. It was a great shower!
Even people who did not come to the shower sent presents. Again, we are so lucky to have such wonderful friends.
