Going to see Daddy and our Anniversary Weekend

DJ got a weekend pass from work to fly in. We are going to meet in Philadelphia to celebrate our first anniversary and Parker's first Halloween. I can't believe in a year I have gained a husband and a beautifual baby boy!
We met up with Daddy on Friday and he snuggled up with you in the bed. On Saturday, we dressed you in your pumpkin outfit and we went to eat breakfast. We went to Dave and Busters and played for about 3 hours. It was sooooo fun.
That night at the hotel, we dressed you up in your Monkey costume and took some very cute pictures of you!

Your first trick or treating

I took you Trick or Treating tonight at the Village Apartments on Campus. The RA's and Residents there hosted all the community kids so that they would have a safe place to trick or treat. There were lots of kids there! You looked so cute. We walked door to door with Jackson and Katie and Jackson got alot of candy.
These college kids are going to spoil you I think!

Fall Pumpkin Patch

Today, we had a Reslife FUNction out in Muncy at the Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze. You got to meet all of the RA's and we took you through a maze. When the even was over, Katie Mackey and I took some very cute pictures of you. You are sooooo beautiful!

Your shots

Today we went in for your first round of shots. I was not looking forward to this day! When you were in the NICU, they only time you cried was when they squeezed your feet, the needle sticks didn't seem to bother you. I thought maybe because the sticks didn't bother you that you would sleep right through the shots. I was WRONG! You squeeled like a baby pig. I know they are necessary but I hate to see you hurt! I gave you some tylonol and you slept like a baby. I'm sorry little man!

First day back at work....

I got up early this morning and packed all of the things you will need at Mrs. Tonya's house. Diapers, formula, blankets, wipes, etc. I put them in a tupperware bin and packed you up in the car. It was 28 degrees this morning! Very cold for your first day away from me! I really didn't want to drop you off.
I took you in and I was really brave. I let you get acquainted with Mrs. Tonya and I explained to her your schedule and such. She thought you were pretty cute.
You got to meet Dylan and Emma (the other two kids that Mrs. Tonya keeps). You seemed to like it there.
I was real brave until I got back in the car without you. I called your daddy on the phone and I starterd crying. I really didn't want to leave you at all! I called three times to check on you today. At 4:00 I couldn't get back to you fast enough! I can't wait till the weekend where we can chill out together.

Going home....

Well today my man, we flew back to Pennsylvania. It was a much worse trip this time. Getting the luggage and everything was tough on top of all the stroller and things. The flights were also booked to the rim so I held you for three hours straight on the plane. It was tough becausae we were all crammed in. This is the last time I will fly this far holding you. It was just too hard.
Kas picked us up at the airport and she thought you had grown sooooooooo much! We have one day to get ready for you to go to the babysitters and for me to go back to work.
So much to do, so little time!

Your Daddy is back!

The plant where your daddy was working had an accident and they shut it down. Your dad had to move to Arkansas but he got to stop by and see us again on his way there. It was great bonus time we got to spend with him! We love him!

Your cousin Brittany

Tonight you met your cousin Brittany for the first time. She thought you were super cute. She swaddled you pretty good and held you!

Beach Bums!

Last Monday, we drove to Panama City to visit your daddy. He has been working hard and misses us a bunch!
This was my first car ride with you. It was a rough trip!
You cried alot when you got hungry. I pulled over at a Subway and fed you lunch and got myself a sandwich. We had to stop a second time to feed you supper. We finally made it to see your dad 9 hours later! It was crazy!
Your daddy took us out to eat and we sat and snuggled with him.
On Tuesday, we went shopping and got some things to fix up the camper so that it is accessible for you. Your daddy loves you so much. He didn't like you keeping him up at night though. It was hard for him to get rested for work with us there but he acted like a trooper!
On Wednesday, we took you out to the beach for the first time. We had your car seat next to the ocean while me and daddy were swimming. (Not very far out, maybe 10 feet). I told Daddy to come and swim by me to see a shell. When he got close he told me "DON'T MOVE" and of course I took off running. Daddy said that I had a big sting ray near my feet. I am soooooooo glad I didn't get stung!
On Saturday, I took you to visit my friend Faye and her husband that lived near where daddy was working. We visited for a few hours. She thought you were the cutest thing!
On Sunday, we went to a different part of Florida to visit your Pawpaw Douglas and your Mawmaw Janet. They thought you were sooooooooo cute! Pawpaw kept trying to dip your binky in the sugar bowl.
We had a great week with dad!
